Welcome to my talk page

Hello, I am Stephen Shaw and my relation with the TI-99/4a started in pre history when TI-UK lent me an early TI-99/4 together with the required NTSC monitor. I was hooked and became a very early member of the UK User Group and in due course started a software house Stainless software. I made contributions to the User Group magazines regularly, as well as to some UK commercial magazines.

I was given a European award in 2000 (the first British person to win it, in its inaugural year, but the award was not delivered, and I did not hear of it until 2013!) and added to the TI Hall of Fame (again the first British person).

My own TI web site which includes a book I was commissioned to write (Getting Started with the Texas Instruments TI-99/4A) and many articles I have written over the years can currently be found at: http://shawweb.myzen.co.uk/stephen/TI.htm
